HVEN OPEN STUDIO: リスニング・セッション

n light of Jazz Appreciation Month, this special listening session invites us to slow down and immerse ourselves in the depth and spirit of jazz. We welcome Hiroko Otsuka: DJ, selector, writer, producer, and founder of the label Key of Life+. A respected voice in the jazz community, she has contributed to newspapers, music and audiophile publications, and liner notes, while curating numerous official jazz label releases. Her DJ appearances span New York, Spain, Mexico, two editions of Fuji Rock Festival, Tokyo Jazz, and Blue Note Jazz Festival, among others. For this session, she will focus on avant-garde and spiritual jazz that has left a lasting impression on her personal journey. Through carefully selected vinyl and intimate storytelling, she will guide us through the emotional landscapes, histories, and encounters behind the music. 月の「ジャズ・アプリシエーション月間」にあわせて開催する、特別なリスニング・セッション。 今回お迎えするのは、DJ／選曲家／ライター／プロデューサーとして国内外で活動する大塚広子。 新聞や音楽メディア、オーディオ専門誌、ライナーノーツなどへの執筆に加え、ジャズレーベル公式作品の選曲も多数手がけています。 これまでにニューヨーク、スペイン、メキシコをはじめ、FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL、TOKYO JAZZ、Blue Note JAZZ FESTIVALなど、国内外で幅広くDJ出演。ラジオ番組の企画や、自身のレーベル〈Key of Life+〉の主宰も務めています。 今回のセッションでは、ご自身の歩みの中で出会ってきた印象深いアバンギャルドやスピリチュアル・ジャズを中心にセレクト。 レコードとともに、その背景にあるストーリーや出会い、時代の空気感を辿りながら、音とじっくり向き合う時間をお届けします。 音楽を「聴く」ことにフォーカスした、親密で贅沢なひとときをぜひご一緒に。
