テクナゴン：テク納言

For this edition, TECHNAGON takes Musume Dōjōji, one of the great masterworks of Japanese dance, as its motif, reimagining its world of obsession, beauty, and deep passion surrounding the temple bell through contemporary sound and physical expression. The finely honed sound of internationally acclaimed techno artist RISA TANIGUCHI resonates with the supple and precise artistry of Japanese dancer Kyōnosuke Fujima, weaving together silence and noise, gesture and loop, memory and future. TECHNAGON is a living court culture of the present day, where intellect and beauty, tradition and innovation, converge through the expression of women artists. TECHNAGON（テクナゴン）とは、「TECHNO（現代音楽）」と「NAGON（＝納言）」の融合によって生まれた、女性アーティストだけで紡ぐ芸術的対話の場である。かつて宮中で文化と美を担った“納言”の系譜を、現代の女性アーティストたちが水戯庵という特別な空間で更新していく。今回は、日本舞踊の大曲「娘道成寺」をモチーフに、鐘をめぐる執心、美と情念に満ちた古典の世界を、現代的な音と身体で再構築する。国内外で活躍するテクノアーティストRISA TANIGUCHIの研ぎ澄まされたサウンドと、日本舞踊家・藤間京之助のしなやかで緻密な表現が響き合い、静寂とノイズ、所作とループ、記憶と未来を編み上げる。TECHNAGONとは、知と美、伝統と革新が交差する、女性たちの“現在進行形の宮廷文化”である。
