PRIMARY Balearic to House. Every second Saturday in Shibuya. PRIMARY is a monthly gathering at DJ BAR KOARA, an intimate venue just a short walk from Yoyogi Park. Beginning in the late afternoon, resident DJs DJ KIYAMA, KAZU, and Issyo guide the music from Balearic sounds into house, creating a journey that naturally unfolds with the evening. This month’s guests each bring a distinctive perspective to the dancefloor. Sach Lee is a Tokyo-based DJ, producer and dedicated vinyl selector whose musical vision spans decades of dance music. His celebrated re-edits and original productions have gained recognition both in Japan and abroad. Joining him is Magic, a fearless DJ known for genre-defying selections and an instinctive ability to draw the entire dancefloor into the music. Throughout the evening, an exhibition by koririkiwa accompanies the music, while the artwork for this edition’s flyer is also created by the artist, extending PRIMARY’s visual identity beyond the dancefloor.
