DJ BAR KOARAの隔月レギュラーパーティー"GREASE” 今回は、長年にわたり独自の視点でダンスミュージックを探求し続ける Kza (Force Of Nature)、そして西東京を拠点とするレーベル／コレクティブ Timothy Really より Kon & y. を迎える。 サンプリングやヴァイナルカルチャーへの深い愛情を軸に、DJ・プロデューサーとして唯一無二の道を歩み続けてきた Kza。 DJ KENTとのユニットForce Of Natureとしても長年活動し、ジャンルを自由自在に横断するスタイルで、国内外のダンスミュージック・シーンに多大な影響を与えてきた。 一方の Kon & y. は、20年以上にわたり東京アンダーグラウンドシーンでカルト的人気を博すTimothy Really のメンバー。 レア盤の発掘・リイシューをはじめとする独自の活動をしながら、DEEP HOUSE/DISCOを主軸にリアルミュージックを追求し、多くのオーディエンスを魅了してきた。 異なるバックグラウンドを持ちながらも、レコードへの愛情を持ち、ダンスフロアに真摯に向き合ってきた3人が集う一夜を楽しんでほしい。 ——— GREASE is DJ BAR KOARA’s bi-monthly regular party. For this edition, we welcome Kza (Force Of Nature), who has spent decades exploring dance music through his own unique perspective, alongside Kon & y. from the West Tokyo-based label and collective Timothy Really. Driven by a deep passion for sampling and vinyl culture, Kza has forged a singular path as both a DJ and producer. As one half of Force Of Nature alongside DJ KENT, he has remained active for many years, earning recognition for a style that moves freely across genres and continuing to influence dance music scenes both in Japan and abroad. Meanwhile, Kon & y. are members of Timothy Really, a collective that has cultivated a cult following within Tokyo’s underground scene for over two decades. Alongside activities such as discovering and reissuing rare records, they continue to pursue authentic music through a deep house- and disco-centered approach, captivating audiences with their distinctive style. Though coming from different backgrounds, these three artists share a deep love for records and a sincere commitment to the dance floor.
