その年にリリースされた新曲やアルバムを中心に、メインストリームからインディー／アンダーグラウンドまで、ポップ、インディーロック、ダンスミュージック、ヒップホップ、R&B、フォークなどジャンルを越えて選曲。その時期の“流れ”を一つのセットとして体感できる空間を目指しています。 会場となるAlffo Recordsは、大阪・新町にあるレコードショップ兼バー。新譜／中古レコードを扱う店内で、音楽とともにゆったりと過ごせる場所です。 CURRENTS is a genre-crossing DJ party based in Osaka, launched in 2019. Focusing on new releases from each year, the night moves fluidly between mainstream, indie and underground sounds — spanning pop, indie rock, electronic, dance, hip-hop, R&B and folk. Rather than sticking to genres, the selections follow the “current” of the moment, shaping the flow of the year into one continuous set. The party takes place at Alffo Records, an independent record shop and bar in Shinmachi, where guests can listen, drink and browse records in an intimate setting.
