Through cross-border collaborations with global artists, he unearths the raw, site-specific magic of sound, delivering it straight from Tokyo to the dancefloor.Mamazu’s sets do more than just make people dance; they transport listeners to the sweltering heat of faraway lands and the atmospheric embrace of unfamiliar street corners. He has performed at major events and platforms, including Fuji Rock Festival, Boiler Room, and NTS Radio. In recent years, his footprint has expanded further into Asia with prominent sets at Wonderfruit Festival (Polygon Stage) in Thailand and The Air House Festival in South Korea.In 2025, he released his full-length album, Alias. His extensive catalog includes collaborative works with French clarinetist Alizarina and handpan player Reo Matsumoto (Matsumoto Zoku), put out by labels worldwide.
