W Osaka’s signature monthly night, WEEKEND BLACKBOX SESSION, returns as part of its WORLD SERIES—welcoming globally connected talent to the intimate setting of the Living Room for another immersive night edition. This edition features special guest BLAKE LIGHT from France, joined by YUUKI YOSHIYAMA, DMITRI ABSINTHE, and KISH, for a night shaped by deep grooves, driving rhythm, and refined dancefloor energy. BLAKE LIGHT and YUUKI YOSHIYAMA recently performed a B2B set at Tomorrowland Winter 2026 in France as part of a secret popup hosted by Steve Aoki, held in celebration of the 30th anniversary of DIM MAK. That connection—formed in the energy of a special international moment—now carries into the more intimate setting of W Osaka. Representing France, BLAKE LIGHT brings a powerful international presence to this edition of the WORLD SERIES. His sound moves through melodic tension, emotional depth, and forward-driving club energy, creating a style that feels both cinematic and intensely dancefloor-focused. Blending atmosphere with momentum, he adds a bold and immersive edge to the night—one that expands the BLACKBOX SESSION experience beyond the local scene and into a wider global conversation. YUUKI YOSHIYAMA, W Osaka’s Music & Entertainment Director, brings a sound refined across some of the world’s most iconic stages. With releases on labels such as Toolroom Records and performances at EDC, Tomorrowland (Belgium), Bootshaus (Germany), and Amsterdam Dance Event, his global trajectory continues to expand. Earlier this March, he also appeared at Tomorrowland Winter 2026 in France as the only Japanese artist on the lineup. His sound moves between precision and emotion, forming a core axis of the night. DMITRI ABSINTHE, originally from Russia and now based in Osaka, brings a deeply cultivated musical perspective shaped by years in Tel Aviv’s underground scene. His sets move fluidly across deep and soulful house, disco, and hypnotic techno—balancing warmth with intensity, and guiding the floor with an intuitive, narrative-driven flow. KISH brings a uniquely W Osaka perspective to the lineup. Recently recognized with the “Best Contribution DJ Award” at the W Osaka DJ AWARD, his presence reflects a strong sense of connection and sensitivity to the atmosphere of the room.
