ffanは韓国出身のDJ／キュレーターであり、豊富な音楽知識を背景に、緻密で折衷的、そして時に狂騒的なサウンドを展開するアーティストだ。
ジャンルの境界を滑るように横断しながら、人々を自然とダンスフロアへ引き寄せる音像を構築していくそのスタイルは、まさに異端。ffanのサウンドに身を委ねる感覚は、暗い熱帯雨林へ深く潜り込んでいくような体験に近い――野生的で、予測不能で、どこか危険な魅力を孕んでいる。 エキセントリックでありながら確かな安定感を持ち、音に対して徹底的にこだわり抜く真のサウンド・パーフェクショニストでもある。彼が関わるあらゆるプロジェクトには、自信に満ちた独自の感覚が鮮やかに宿っており、その評価は各地へと広がり続けている。 また、クラブ「Nyapi Seoul」と「Studio Namsan」の創設者として、ソウルのシーンに与える影響は極めて大きい。その存在感は、まさに“ニュー・スクール・アシッド”と呼ぶべき新たな潮流を体現している。 Juncheol Juncheol is a DJ who has been shaping his own distinctive flow within Seoul’s underground scene for many years. Driven by an endless curiosity for new sounds and digging, he continuously explores the space between old records and unfamiliar movements, gradually expanding his own musical language along the way. Through heavy rolling grooves and, at times, floating high-end layers, he creates a deep and subtle sense of tension within his sets. Through his long time at Club Nyapi, his sets have come to embody an even more delicate and sensual tension. His unforced presence and deep sense of immersion blur the boundary between the music and the people within the space, guiding the floor through a single continuous flow. Since their teens, they have been hanging around together night after night, and then, set up their own playground named "MOLDIVE" in 2013. Influenced by the underground party culture of Osaka in the 2000s and freaky party scenes they experienced around the world like Berlin and New York, they have been seeking surprising plot twists by sprinkling spaced-out techno, psychedelic disco and screw-loose house, have created their own unique party atmosphere and dance floor filled with a lot of flexibility.
