Step through "The Doorway to Life and Music." This Saturday, Ambient Bar BKK brings you a heavy-hitting, double-header vinyl showcase for our "Hot Ambient" May sessions. Tucked away in the historic Pratu Phi district, we are opening our doors early at 17:00 to host two of the most dedicated figures in the local underground electronic scene. The Flow: The Extended Tag-Team Journey 17:00 - 20:00 (The Listening Lounge): Settle in early to beat the summer heat. This is our dedicated lounge hour—perfect for record swapping, gear talk, and enjoying cold craft beers under the warm, organic crackle of vinyl. 20:00 - Late (The Long Set b2b): No short sets tonight. Moodyboom and ThirddWorldDj will share the decks all night long, trading wax and building the room's energy transition-by-transition. Expect a deep, driving, and unpredictable all-vinyl journey spanning from deep house to classic electro, breaks, and raw techno grooves. Lineup / Selectors: Moodyboom (Highwire Crew / TH) Co-founder of the highly respected Highwire Crew, Moodyboom’s artistic path is remarkably unique. Originally a member of a hardcore band, he pivoted into electronic music after falling in love with modular instruments and drum machines. His sound effortlessly drifts between deep, atmospheric warm-ups and high-energy grooves. Beyond his residencies in Bangkok's key underground hubs, Moodyboom has commanded dance floors across Southeast Asia, including Potato Head (Bali) and Zodiac (Jakarta). Third (Pakkret Sound Syndicate / TH) Representing the Pakkret Sound Syndicate, ThirddWorldDj is a highly respected vinyl purist known for his deep, rolling minimal house and techno grooves. A close brother-in-sound to Moodyboom, his ability to read the room and maintain a hypnotic, driving flow makes him the perfect counterpart for this extended, tag-team set. The Vibe & House Rules: Ambient Bar BKK is a dedicated listening and dance space built on the culture of respect. Strictly Vinyl Only (Xone:92 + Technics turntables). Respect the sound and the gear (Do not touch the DJ equipment). Keep conversations chill, especially during the early hours.
