My band and I are absolutely delighted to be returning to Blue Note Tokyo and to reunite with what we feel are the finest audiences anywhere in the world.We’re coming to you with a vast repertoire packed in our bags — which means each set will offer something different. Think of it as a musical feast. No two sets in a single night will be the same, and if you join us for multiple evenings, you’ll experience an even broader menu from night to night. We’ll be serving up older favorites, various selections from Data Lords and our latest, “American Crow,” as well as brand-new compositions that haven’t yet been recorded.After more than 30 years together, these musicians still surprise me. They transform the music every time we step onstage — spontaneous, fearless, and alive in the moment. That spirit of adventure is something we can’t wait to share with you.It is always a profound joy for us to come to Japan, and we look forward to making each performance vibrant, dynamic, and truly unforgettable.
