Nightlife Today

Marina Bay is a 3-minute walk from Bayfront MRT (CE1/DT16).

Marina Bay is the postcard. The three towers of Marina Bay Sands, the glowing dome of the ArtScience Museum, the laser show bouncing off the water every night at 8 — this is the Singapore that people picture before they land. And when the sun drops, the same skyline becomes the backdrop for some of the most spectacular nightlife in Southeast Asia. Marina Bay nightlife is not about gritty dive bars or hidden speakeasies. It's about scale, views, and polish. The clubs here are the biggest in Singapore. The rooftop bars sit higher than anywhere else in the city. The cover charges and drink prices match the altitude. This is where you come for a night that feels like an event — birthdays, anniversaries, first nights in Singapore, or any night you want to dress up and go big. If Clarke Quay is the city's nightlife workhorse and Orchard Road is for refined bar-hopping, Marina Bay is the showstopper.

Venue Highlights

Marquee Singapore — Singapore's biggest nightclub inside Marina Bay Sands — a massive multi-level space with a three-story indoor Ferris wheel, custom sound system, and lighting rig that rivals a concert arena. International DJs, bottle-service culture, peak hours midnight–3 AM Fri–Sat.
CÉ LA VI — Perched on the 57th floor of Marina Bay Sands SkyPark — part sky bar, part rooftop club. Open-air terrace 200 meters above the bay with 360-degree views. Club Lounge transitions from sunset cocktails to full nightclub with resident and guest DJs after 11 PM.
Level 33 — The world's highest urban craft brewery on the 33rd floor of Marina Bay Financial Centre. Floor-to-ceiling windows framing the MBS skyline, house-brewed lagers and IPAs on tap, European-influenced food menu. Best for after-work drinks and conversation over views.
1-Altitude — At 282 meters above sea level on the 63rd floor of One Raffles Place — the world's highest al fresco bar. Open-to-the-sky rooftop deck with panoramic views from Marina Bay to Sentosa. DJ sets on weekends. Closes when it rains.

Practical Tips

  • Take Bayfront MRT (Downtown/Circle lines) — it connects directly to Marina Bay Sands basement. For 1-Altitude use Raffles Place MRT, for Level 33 use Downtown MRT.
  • Dress code is strictly enforced at Marquee and CÉ LA VI — no shorts, no sneakers (at Marquee), no flip-flops. Men: long trousers, collared shirt or clean fitted tee, closed-toe shoes. When in doubt, overdress.
  • Arrive at rooftop bars (CÉ LA VI SkyBar, 1-Altitude) by 7–8 PM to catch sunset without queuing. For clubs (Marquee, CÉ LA VI Club Lounge), 11 PM–midnight is the sweet spot.
  • Budget move: Start at Level 33 for craft beers (cheapest quality drinks in the area), catch the free 8 PM Spectra light show, then head to CÉ LA VI early enough to skip the club cover.
  • After midnight, avoid the MBS taxi stand — order Grab from the Tower 1 lobby instead. Rides back to the CBD run S$15–S$30 with surge.
