Her work explores the space between sound and image, as well as the technical conditions and apparatus that mediate them. Using real-time rendering systems and audio signal processing environments as technical frameworks, she investigates the operational logic of signals derived from modular patching experiments. Through processes of modulation, amplification, and feedback, she organizes structural and non-structural transformations of signals into live performances that foreground the perceptual conditions of sound and image. DGR DGR began his career in the early 2000s as an electronic DJ, holding residencies at clubs such as Cargo and Answer. Alongside his DJ work, he has developed his own distinctive sound as a producer by blending influences from rock and electronic music. In 2006 he released the album Address, demonstrating the wide musical spectrum he had developed as a musician, while also performing at various festivals in Korea and abroad. Since 2008 he has been a member of IDIOTAPE, a band that has received the Korean Music Award for Best Dance & Electronic Album in 2012 and 2018. Through performances at major European festivals including Sziget, Exit, and Glastonbury, the group has expanded its presence internationally while breaking boundaries between electronic music and band performance.
