Flagio, an Osaka-based musician who creates deep vibrations and drones with the double bass, Hosoo, a Seoul-based artist who embarks on free-flowing sonic journeys, and Jeong Jung-yeop, a musician who paints with sound using the electronic instrument Buchla. Flagio Flagio is a musician based in Osaka who explores resonance and spatial sound through the use of contrabass and electronics. Moving between ambient music, experimental sound, and improvisation, he creates distinctive sonic landscapes. The deep vibrations produced by his contrabass resonate through the body, spread throughout the space, and evoke vivid imagery within each listener. Hosoo An ambient and experimental music duo consisting of Baek Ho-hyun and Byun Woong-soo, they create spontaneous and free-flowing sonic journeys inspired by their distinct senses of space and place. Since the release of their album Mist on the Los Angeles–based label LINE in 2019, they have also released SALTLAKE FM on Helicopter Records and Odyssey on Dragon's Eye Recordings. Based in Seoul, they continue to perform and collaborate across a wide range of artistic contexts. Jeong Jung-yeup Jung Joong-yeop is a musician whose work spans band performance as well as composing for theater and film. Inspired by his wife's pregnancy and the birth of their child, he has been focusing on creating spontaneous sonic sketches using the Buchla Music Easel. He is currently preparing an album based on sketches developed over the past three years, and will release the collaborative piece Manmul (All Things) with vocalist Kwon Song-hee on July 14. These three musicians come together to weave a single sonic landscape, moving between high and low frequencies.
