A new night at Modeci brings a long set from Eddie C (@therealeddiec), alongside a lineup curated by Sina Hill (@sinahilll), featuring some of Seoul’s finest diggers across disco, balearic, and house. Dubbed the Canadian crown prince of downbeat disco, Eddie C has been a key figure in the global house, disco, and balearic crossover scene for over two decades. Rooted in late 80s hip hop, acid house, and rave culture, he has built a prolific career as a producer, remixer, and dub artist, working with numerous artists and releasing an extensive catalog of records. As the head of Red Motorbike Records and Disko Universal Records, he continues to push his own output while supporting producers worldwide, alongside releases on labels such as Razor-N-Tape and Lumberjacks in Hell. He has headlined major festivals including Movement, Shambhala, Wonderfruit, and Montreux Jazz Festival, as well as renowned clubs such as Panorama Bar, Rex Club, Circus, Womb, Vent, and Corsica Studios. His work has been featured in Mixmag and Resident Advisor, and across platforms such as Red Bull Music Academy, Red Light Radio, The Lot Radio, and Dommune. Record digging remains at the core of his practice. Experience Eddie C’s first-ever Korea appearance with a special 4-hour long set, showcasing rare vinyl and sounds collected from around the world, on Saturday, April 25.
