Ovid is a Brooklyn-based Korean-Latino DJ and producer known for his percussion-driven approach to club music. Originally from the Washington, DC area, he has spent over a decade developing a sound rooted in hard drum, UK funky, and experimental bass. With releases on labels like FLOOD and Loosee, his work explores dense rhythmic structures and high-impact textures designed for the dancefloor. A regular in New York’s underground scene, Ovid represents a new wave of artists pushing rhythm-forward club music beyond genre boundaries.
