Electric Bump is back, meaning you never have to go home early on a Thursday in San Francisco. Featuring a lineup of some of the bay area’s fiercest house selectors, Digital Rain is bringing DADSF to the Monarch this month. Having just celebrated their 9th anniversary as a collective, DAD knows how to bring the heat. DADSF has played along such acts as Felix da House and supported events hosted by Glitterbox, Comfort and Joy, Baaahs, and Truck. Featuring the groovy and fierce sounds of Booty Juice and Mondo Nexus. When DAD’s on the decks, you better believe we come out. Celebrating the soulfully gritty, funkily groovy, and just downright nasty disco house, Huffy’s sets are grooving and joyful. Bring your dancing shoes, smiles will be provided. Huffy has carved out a name for himself through monthly BUMP events, a residency at SF's premier listening lounge Phonobar, as well as recent and upcoming dates in Los Angeles, Portland, Ashland, and Seattle. Huffy has also toured the US and Europe as a punk bassist, and has extensive experience as a singer and drummer as well! Isobel is a DJ with 30 years of immersion in disco, house, funk, and UK Garage. Originally a funk keyboardist and drummer, her sense of groove and musicality carries through in her selections and mixing. After a stint as at university studying jazz piano performance, she then pursued opportunities in music studio design and rave drugs. Isobel is a killer recording studio engineer, specializing in acoustics and software engineering. She brings a trained ear and technical precision to the decks.
