Poroyé (pronounced ‘puh-row-yay’) is a vocalist, writer, and composer from Queens, NY. She is heir to a melange of interconnecting musical traditions from NYC, including folk, rock, neo-soul, and R&B. Poroyé's music is ever inspired by the works of artists like D'Angelo, Willow, and Jazmine Sullivan. Often marrying her incandescent soprano with intimate, reserved arrangements; her voice is encompassing, luring listeners to lean in and fall under her spell. (GhettoHeavenWorldwide) FVDGE NASTE ‘97 is a Harlem-born, New York-based performance artist and sound healer. Through her project Ghetto Heaven Worldwide, she creates sonic experiences that blend hip hop, spirituality, and ritual. Her R+B Sound Bath blends guided storytelling, crystal sound bowls, and an R&B mix, creating a reflective sonic experience. Skye Melena is a multi-dimensional Maryland-born artist currently practicing in Brooklyn. From capturing intimate photos on a boisterous 120mm film camera to weaving stories into scalps, even crafting complex pottery and collages. She employs her hands in a seemingly infinite artistic medley. Now she is placing them to emit sonic beauty on the Harp. Melena’s harp playing is a continuation of her radical nature, allowing her ideas to spin in places they’ve rarely been able to be developed by artists like her in the past. Gabrielle Narcisse is a New Jersey-born multidisciplinary artist and writer based in Brooklyn. With a lifelong art practice spanning a myriad techniques, including painting, collage, performance art, dance, photography, film, and sculpture, her work demands intensive self-investigation and reflection. By reconnecting with past and present selves and exploring differing relationships across time, she liberates and honors a life shaped by beauty, joy, pain, defeat, perseverance, and love gained and lost. Through poetry and prose, Narcisse explores these terrains with resilience, while remaining tender.
