Short King lands at Red Eye, a night for our vertically efficient, travel-size gay and queer men and all their admirers. Music for the night comes from autogyro and IPOK, guiding the room through a marathon journey of dark underground house, deep hypnotic techno, and flashes of club classics and pop nostalgia designed to pull the dancefloor together and keep bodies locked in motion. A new club night in Manhattan is a tall order. His sets unfold gradually, building tension through layered rhythms before opening into moments of warmth, memory, and collective lift: somewhere between deep club control and queer ceremonial space. IPOK New York City-based DJ and Eagle NYC resident IPOK brings a powerful, bass-driven club sensibility to the dancefloor. Blending house, techno, and high-energy club sounds, his sets move fluidly between dark grooves and euphoric moments, keeping dancers locked into the rhythm from the first beat to the last.
