Never Neutral is a party featuring the distinct sonics of Acid and Bass. Each DJ is selected for their unique approach and use of the two genres. This party aims to draw artists out of neutrality and lean into a distinctive soundscape. Originally from Kansas City, Sister Zo has established herself as an eminent sonic powerhouse in the music industry. Zoey has made a name for herself, co-creating UN/TUCK, a queer/trans collective and record label, while also developing an illustrious discography of electronic music. Despite being a familiar face to clubs like Nowadays, Basement, and Public Records, she has also been featured internationally. Sister Zo's use of Acid Melodies and Syncopated bass lines makes her a perfect fit for a night of Acid and Bass. Sel.6 is a Miami superstar featuring a distinct Miami Bass sound with notes of electro, jungle, and hardgroove. Featured at festivals like iii Points and releasing her recent otherworldly Ep, ‘SECULAR MUSIC,’ Sel is on an upward track. Mui Mui is second up, representing the versatile sounds of bass. A classically trained dancer, and community organizer, she brings an intersectional mindset to the dance floor. Utilizing a genre-bending approach , she threads bass lines together like a fine woven fabric. With Mui Mui playing, high-impact moments and a unique repertoire of percussion are in store. Another golden child of the Brooklyn scene, she’s played venues like Bossa Nova Civic Club, The Lot Radio, and Spread Tokyo. Nymphostar is a Kansas-born multimedia artist currently residing in Brooklyn. Having a creative start in digital media, Nymphostar has sought to cultivate her creative identity across multiple mediums. Regardless, her fiery tenacity and need to create holistic systems and spaces lead all of her creative endeavors. When DJ’ing, she focuses on cultivating a soundscape of intense, mind-bending acid and bouncy techno, featuring hard-driving beats, erotic samples, and references from heavy metal to pop.
