After smooth sailing last year, TOSSD and Mizz Softee are back aboard our favorite little Jewel for another delightfully debaucherous cruise. Once again, we’re taking over two stages: on the upper deck, Yazzus brings her signature “bitchy techno” heat while Ariel Zetina serves a full trip through Belizean punta, Chicago house, hard dance, and queer clurb drama. Down below in the boat clurb, TOSSD and Softee resident dahlings keep things sweaty, swampy, and CHILLzone-fab. Come get nautical, naughty, and toasted, hunnies! ⁂ Sunday, June 7, 2026 ⁂ 6pm – 10PM // boarding at 5:45pm ⁂ Sound by MS Cake Shaker (Martin Audio) ⁂ Lighting by Violet Flux All tickets are non-refundable. P R O G R A M → Yazzus → Ariel Zetina → Samuel Fish → Giovannii → Will Jack (✿◕‿◕✿) Ghana-born, London-bred, and now Berlin-based, *Yazzus* is a powerhouse DJ and producer specializing in high-energy, "bitchy techno." Her signature sound is a masterclass in sexiness and attitude, blending bouncy rhythms with a playful yet fiercely outspoken presence on the dancefloor. Drawing heavily from 90s and early 2000s rave culture, she employs a sensual, Afrofuturist lens to resurrect classic club energy with a modern, high-octane edge. Beyond the booth, Yazzus’s artistry is a conduit for her spiritual beliefs and fascination with cosmic energy, manifesting in lush melodies and hypnotic basslines. Using animated synth lines and driving grooves as a device to transcend dimensions, the Mala Junta resident crafts an immersive environment where infectious energy radiates throughout the club. Whether exploring intricate textures or shifting tempos, her music remains a radiant force designed to ignite the dancefloor with both soul and precision. (✿◕‿◕✿) *Ariel Zetina* is a Chicago-based artist, focusing in electronic music production, deejaying, and dramatic writing, taking inspiration from so many dramatic musical genres, including but not limited to Chicago house, American musical theatre, Belizean punta, Midwestern hard techno, Florida bass, hyperpop and, of course, the queer club scene worldwide whom she considers her main colleagues. No matter the genre, she craves percussion that sounds like melody, melody that masquerades as percussion, and theatrics created from seeming chaos. Structured four-on-the-floor rhythms in symbiosis with arhythmic unquantized patterns of beats, and repetitions of lush and perhaps even mainstream vocals blooming from an earthy gritty womb. Minimal maximalism. Is it deadpan comedy or techno-opera? Yes. Ariel is a resident DJ at the legendary house club Smartbar and has had the privilege to deejay all over the world, including opening for artists like Beyoncé, James Blake, Caroline Polachek, Sevdaliza, Big Freedia, and horsegirl, and playing iconic venues and festivals like De School (Amsterdam), Unsound (Krakow), Planetas Manas (Lisbon), and Pitchfork Fest (Chicago). In 2022, she was nominated for Breakthrough DJ-North America by DJ Mag, and in 2023 named Chicagoan of the Year in the Pop Music Category of the Chicago Tribune. She also co-runs the Chicago party and mix series Rumors. (✿◕‿◕✿) *Samuel Fish* is the mind behind Outer Orbit Records and a co-founder of Mizz Softee. His curation reflects a wide-ranging sensibility, blending contemporary electronic genres with international legends and local luminaries. A dedicated digger, his sets move fluidly through techno, electro, early trance, deep house, wave, modern breakbeats, vintage tech house, and leftfield selections, emphasizing groove, atmosphere, and intention with a distinctly New York after-hours grit. (✿◕‿◕✿) A resident of both TOSSD and Brooklyn’s ANIMAL, *Will Jack* approaches DJing as a contextual, narrative-driven practice. The PNW-born, Brooklyn-based DJ, producer, and promoter first emerged in Portland as the force behind Switch Dance Party, a queer underground platform rooted in intentional curation, community, and ritual, hosting artists such as Kevin Aviance, Aurora Halal, Volvox, and Ariel Zetina. After relocating to New York, he became embedded in Brooklyn’s DIY nightlife ecosystem, working with the UNTER collective while refining his sensibility across warehouses, clubs, and afterhours spaces. He now co-runs TOSSD alongside Giovannii, serving as both resident and creative force. His sound blends groove, tension, and sex appeal — drawing from house, Detroit techno, acid, electro, and psychedelic textures with a percussive-forward pulse designed to move mind, body, and spirit. Known for patient, extended sets, Will Jack balances hedonism with intention, treating the dance floor as ritual. (✿◕‿◕✿) Brooklyn based DJ *Giovannii* blends psychedelic influences with functional dance rhythms, creating sets that are both exploratory and percussive. Drawing from a wide range of electronic music, he aims to balance hypnotic textures and unconventional selections with driving basslines and a contemporary edge. Giovannii is a DJ and event producer whose work is rooted in underground dance music culture. DJing since 2014, he is a co-producer and resident DJ of the Brooklyn based afterhours rave TOSSD. He has spent years organizing and producing DIY events focused on immersive, community-driven experiences. (✿◕‿◕✿)
