Session Title: Soul Remedy presents: Steeped in Sade with k.tea Session Description: Soul Remedy arrives in real life with Steeped in Sade, an intimate listening experience honoring the music, legacy, and emotional world of Sade. Taking place at Silence Please on May 29th, the evening invites guests into a space where listening is intentional. Through a curated journey of Sade’s catalog, from iconic recordings to deeper, lesser-heard moments, k.tea will guide listeners through sound, story, and reflection, sharing insight into Sade’s life, artistry, and cultural impact. This marks the first in-person installment of k.tea’s Soul Remedy soundscape. An extension of her recent Sade broadcast on The Lot Radio, what was shared on air now unfolds more intimately, allowing the music, context, and feeling to be experienced with greater presence and depth. As with all Soul Remedy experiences, music is medicine. The session is designed to be received slowly, to listen with intention, to feel without urgency, and to allow the music to move through the body in its own time. Tea will be offered throughout the evening, including a selection of custom Sade-inspired blends. Rooted in the same ethos as the music, each offering invites grounding, warmth, and gentle restoration through both sound and taste. The atmosphere is one of quiet connection, an opportunity to gather, share space, and engage with one another through a mutual reverence for the music. Guests are encouraged to dress in elevated, sophisticated attire, honoring the mood and timeless elegance of Sade’s world. Come ready to listen deeply, connect softly, and be held in the experience. Artist Bio: k.tea is a DJ, multidisciplinary artist, and founder of Soul Remedy, a listening experience centered on the belief that music is medicine.
