A quintessential New York DJ with roots in the ’90s hip-hop scene, Rok came up through crate-digging culture where one record leads to ten more. That foundation runs deep, pulling from funk, disco, salsa, reggae, freestyle, house, techno, breakbeat, drum & bass, and beyond. An old soul, but don’t call him an old head. His sets carry the lineage all while keeping things fresh and forward moving. From early synth-pop and new wave to his time as a Studio B resident during the height of Indie Sleaze, Rok moves across eras with ease.
