EXILE and KINDERGARTEN team up for the first time to brew a 10-hour storm where techno and bass music stalwarts collide from both sides of the Atlantic. Peder Mannerfelt, LWS, and Asphodele join from abroad while Ma Sha, UPRFXR, Sobolik, and nguyendowsxp hold down the opening and closing hours. Nitemind and Subbass will provide lights and sound with BODYART setting the scene. Known for skewing techno’s various adjuncts in unique and thrilling ways, Peder’s style is one that is always evolving, never stagnant. Having honed his craft under guises such as Roll The Dice and The Subliminal Kid, his most notable outings of late have come by way of a trio of genre-smelting singles under the name Aasthma (with Pär Grindvik), and a thoroughly demented, career-high 12” for Blawan and Pariah’s label, Voam. [LWS] Fresh off of a pair of astonishing records on Verraco’s traxtraxtrax and Call Super & Parris’ can you feel the sun? labels, LWS is in town from Edinburgh to bless us with his sparkling club fixtures. LWS stands out as one of the most talented and striking club producers working — a master of dense texture drama, addictive rhythms, and brain-zapping hooks. He carries the torch for his Hessle and Hemlock forebears, drawing from a deft command of techno and club music language while contorting these forms into beguiling and unexpected shapes. It’s why tracks like “Gum Seleks”, “Steady On”, and “Gown Blanks” have consistently rules festival and club stages for years. We’re honored to bring him on for an overdue US debut. [Asphodele] As much a dynamic artist as a natural educator, Asphodèle has been making big waves in the LA club scene and the dance music digisphere. Her ‘inside-the-blend’ DJ demonstration clips deconstruct the polymetric mixing, genre-hopping and selection knowledge that animates her sophisticated craft. Asphodèle brings powerful singing chops and a fine-honed rhythmic sensitivity to her live sets, which wed etheral songwriting to futuristic, body-shaking percussion. Asphodèle will perform live to capture our hearts and bodies as the party kicks into full swing.
