Ashes57s work is characterized by intricate monochromatic line drawing and bold graphic contrast, representing her own exploration of sound, movement, and urban experience. This exhibition features a selection of limited-edition screen prints capturing glimpses of cities such as New York, San Francisco, and London. TEKLIFE Records will also be selling records at the event and playing tracks from the soon-to-be-released On Life compilation softly in the background. Ashes57 began her career in London’s electronic music scene, where she created event posters and record artwork for leading labels such as Hyperdub, Swamp81, and Exit Records but also hip-hop such as Backwoodz Studioz . In 2011, she helped develop the influential record label TEKLIFE, further solidifying her role at the intersection of visual art and music culture. Her work has been exhibited internationally, including in London, Singapore, Brooklyn, and Manchester.
