Gray Area presents Eli Fola (Hybrid Live) at H0L0 Yard on June 6th, with support from Niara Sterling and Sanvero, for an open-air session running from 3PM to 10PM. Eli Fola is a Nigerian-born, New York-based multidisciplinary artist whose work sits at the intersection of electronic music and live performance. As the creator of Yoruba Tech Soul, he combines AfroHouse, techno, jazz, and classical influences into a hybrid format where live saxophone meets club-focused production. His sets move fluidly between rhythmic depth and improvisation, offering a performance style that stands apart from standard DJ formats. Fola’s career has taken him to stages such as Burning Man and Art Basel Miami, and he has performed alongside artists including Black Coffee, Pablo Fierro, and Audiofly. His work has also extended beyond music into cultural collaborations with Swizz Beatz and Alicia Keys’ No Commission, as well as projects connected to Dr. Martens and Chanel. He is also the founder of Tech Afrique, a creative platform launched in 2016 that connects Afro-centric electronic music with visual art, events, and global community building, with a focus on creating space for underrepresented artists. Support comes from Niara Sterling, a New York-based DJ known for her wide-ranging selections rooted in house, Afro-tech, and bass-driven sounds. She has performed at venues such as The Brooklyn Mirage and worked internationally as Talib Kweli’s DJ, while collaborating with artists across R&B, hip-hop, and electronic music. This event brings together live performance, club music, and global influences in an intimate outdoor setting at H0L0 Yard.
