Ladies on Wax presents a trio of selectors with distinct, personality-driven approaches. Leading charge is Andi, mainstay of the NYC underground and founder of SYNTHICIDE with a playful mix of disco, electro, and new wave-leaning cuts to turn the thermostat up. Opening the night is Ladies on Wax and outwatch head honchess Mr. Murray, who brings her signature hypnotics blends of techno, EBM, electro, trance, and minimal, focus on texture over genre and fluid builds of tension and tempo. Patience and precision to set the night off right. Dea, DJ/producer known as half of ERIS and Bad Flatmates, closes with synth-forward house and retro-tinged grooves shaped by her European influences and club residencies. Expect color, character, and a floor that vibrates till the lights go up. Earlier in the evening, from 9PM, you can view Shared Frequency Collections of Nightlife Photography exhibition in our courtyard. This exhibition will present work by four photographers whose practices engage with dance, nightlife, and movement. the selected works document bodies in motion and social space as they intersect with music, architecture, and crowd dynamics. installed within a nightclub, the exhibition situates the photographs in dialogue with the environments from which they emerge, examining nightlife as both a site of cultural production and collective behavior. //////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// To maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for all, we ask that you respect our house code of conduct: no phones on the dance floor, mandatory coat check in our garden, and zero tolerance for harassment, discrimination, or hate.
