Third Floor Sounds: Foundations

Third Floor Sounds returns with the second edition of Foundations, a series dedicated to honoring the DJs who helped shape the culture we’re dancing in today. At its core, Foundations is about lineage. It brings together artists, sounds, and communities across generations, creating space for that exchange to unfold naturally on the dance floor. For this edition, we’re honored to welcome DJ Spinna, a cornerstone of New York’s musical landscape. With a career spanning decades, his influence runs deep across house, soul, hip-hop, and beyond. Known for his genre-spanning selections and timeless remixes, Spinna represents the kind of legacy this series was built to spotlight. He’ll be joined by Third Floor Sounds founder TEE EM DEE and k.tea, bringing a shared focus on deep, soulful house music and a commitment to building an intentional, connected dance floor. Set inside Green Room, an intimate Brooklyn space known for its sound system and close energy, the night continues the Foundations ethos: rooted in the music, guided by experience, and driven by the people in the room.
