Rural Festival, the celebrated open-air event in Japan, brings its expansive, immersive energy into the club. Headlining is Manfredas, the Lithuanian DJ and producer, key resident and programmer at Vilnius’ Opium Club where he runs the acclaimed night Smala. Known for his eclectic, psychedelic-leaning sound and ability to fuse cold-wave, electro, and neo-trance influences, he has been championed by Ivan Smagghe, Red Axes, and Multi Culti, and has wowed audiences worldwide with epic b2b sessions. Atsushi Maeda, founder of Rural and the Japanese party addictedloop, brings a hypnotic, groove-driven style with the intent to “leave the floor astonished.” A veteran of stages including Wonderfruit, Karma Kastle, Bassiani, and Taipei Organik Festival, he blends techno and melodic underground rhythms into flowing, immersive sets. Closing the night is Nao, a long-time Rural resident and international selector whose sets traverse techno and melodic grooves with subtle, hypnotic flow, rounding out the lineup with measured, floor-focused energy.
