VICE: THE CAGE VICE returns bigger than ever, moving into a larger warehouse and unveiling a new format — a 360° dancefloor built around a cage at the center. The DJ plays from inside the cage while the crowd surrounds it from every direction. No stage. No front row. Just sound and bodies moving together as the pressure builds on all sides. Lights cut through the fog as the floor tightens around the cage and the energy rises from every corner of the room. Above the dancefloor, a dark lounge overlooks the chaos below with couches and space to catch your breath before diving back into the crowd. VICE continues to evolve. The cage is the next chapter. LINEUP Justin Cudmore Justin Cudmore is a Brooklyn-based producer, DJ, creator of the Balance resident party at BASEMENT (est. 2019) in New York, resident DJ at Public Records, and runs Major Records with The Carry Nation and Mike Servito. A Midwest-born and raised DJ, Justin has played at queer parties such as Wrecked, Queen!, The Carry Nation, Horse Meat Disco, Honcho and Club Toilet, and has gained a following all over the world with appearances at clubs like Smartbar Chicago, Panorama Bar, Is Burning Amsterdam, Razzmatazz Barcelona, DC10 and Lux Fragil. His bold, acid-flecked distillation of house and techno has found a home on the labels that are helping to shape the current landscape of transgressive body music, including The Bunker New York, Detroit’s Interdimensional Transmissions, and Honey Soundsystem label HNYTRX. Justin's sound is defined by snaking acid lines, whip smart drums and offbeat rave melodies that have resonated with DJs and dancers from Detroit to Berlin. An unabashed party DJ with a depth of knowledge beyond the often cookie-cutter framework of contemporary dance music, his effective but uncompromising style has been featured in his Rinse FM show as well as mixes for series such as Beats In Space, Truants, Phantasy and The Bunker New York’s long-running podcast. KNOX New York native Knox made his underground debut at Ostbahnhof in 2024 and has been on an upward trajectory ever since. Now based in Los Angeles, he’s known for high-energy, versatile sets that move through trance, baile funk, and house. An exciting rising DJ with a sharp instinct for the dancefloor, Knox has a natural ability to read the room and push the energy exactly where it needs to go. Perfect Lovers Perfect Lovers is one of the founders of POR Detroit, a Mexico City and Los Angeles–based queer underground rave collective. Their sound has carried them onto some of the world’s most respected dancefloors, with recent appearances at Berghain, Basement NYC, and Skyline Festival. Heidi Lawden London-born Heidi Lawden is widely considered one of the mothers of the Los Angeles underground. With more than 20 years in the scene, she remains a guiding force and global presence behind the decks. Heidi has played clubs and festivals across the world and will host her own stage at Bionic Jungle during Friday night at EDC this year. Unapologetically a queer ally, she uses her platform and voice to uplift and support the community. We asked for Hard Heidi, and she’s bringing her uplifting spirit and powerful energy to the Cage. Flabbergast & Josh Peace Josh Peace, founder of Mustache Mondays — a legendary party with over a 15-year run — is one of Los Angeles’ best-kept secrets. His deep knowledge of electronic music and ability to guide a dancefloor has made him a respected figure in the city’s nightlife for years. Flabbergast, founder of VICE Underground, has emerged as a powerful force in the queer underground. Known for unapologetically queer, driving, and intimate sets, he has built dancefloors centered on connection, sweat, and full release. Together they recently launched CUMUNITY, a Sunday party built around extended 5–6 hour sets where the two explore deeper musical journeys. When Josh Peace and Flabbergast play together, the dancefloor becomes almost cult-like — locked in until the very last record.
