This April, Jake Sondy brings his laptop and wired headphones to the club in Los Angeles for the first time. Live coded remixes of Addison Rae, SZA and The Dare that hit all feeds with undeniable energy and resonance in 2025. This is a party. Presented by Tabula Rasa, with aupport from Ava Blank and data.cluster. Born in Los Angeles, Ava Blank spent her formative years in underground electronic music circles, she gained an appreciation for classic US garage house, as well as 90’s Midwest techno and downtempo. She mixes funky uplifting grooves, with contrasting dark and sweaty basement tracks, emphasizing variation of mood within her DJ sets. Her productions place you into various synthetic environments, exploring pieces of dance music’s past, present, and future. Inspired by grooves from Parliament Funkadelic, the DIY attitude of Underground Resistance, and the playfulness of Gary Wilson, Ava presents themes of contemplation, movement, and joy. Her newest release "Bring Down EP" soundtracks moments before something happens, taking the train to the party, walking to the hang, thinking about what's about to go down. data.cluster is the LA-based project of Omar Armenta, making music from errors - dense with digital fragmentation, his emotionally rich IDM disassembles and reassembles techno without ever going too abstract. His debut album Coalescence, released on The Tabula Rasa Record Company in November 2025, maps 18 tracks of intricate machine-dream narratives across the space where dance floor experimentation meets fine art sound design. Imogen Heap discovered the record on a playlist and picked it as her guilty pleasure on Billboard’s On The Record podcast, comparing it to the work of Max Cooper and Jon Hopkins, after which she messaged him on Instagram to ask if the music was even made by a human. It was. “He’s studied them meticulously to the point where he just knows how to get those sounds,” she said. “I just would not have the patience to do that.”
