An evening of folklore, fallacies, & fairytale with Amber Abundance Toxic Femininity LIVE is a monthly comedic storytelling show hosted by Amber Abundance, creator of the cult-favorite newsletter Toxic Femininity. Presented by Ample World in collaboration with Cuties LA, each show features storytellers who are writers, artists, thinkers, and professional oversharers, sharing untold, true, and questionable stories about love, sex, rage, faith, and bad behavior. Toxic Femininity LIVE centers the Black ass funny ass “what had happen was” storytelling finesse of grown women, gays, and theys who aren’t afraid to tell their business—and tell it funny. Our next show is Friday, May 1st at Petty Cash Studios in West Hollywood. Featured Storytellers: Camille Corbett @thewittygirl — is a Fulbright Scholar and a multi-hyphenate Jamaican- American artist from Atlanta, GA. Camille has written on a sitcom for Netflix, as well as a sex comedy produced by DreamCrew and on an animated show for Disney+. Camille is a proud member of the LA comedy scene through her improv (UCB, GROUNDLINGS, IMPRO STUDIO), stand-up (COMEDY STORE, HOLLYWOOD IMPROV, LAUGH FACTORY), sketch, theatre (MATRIX THEATRE, VICTORY THEATRE), and comedic musical performances. Bria Samoné @briasamone — is an LA based actor, writer and poet from Richmond, Virginia. Her areas of expertise include storytelling and vibrators. Danni Cassette @uglyanalog — is a multifaceted singer and performance artist. Mostly known for their showmanship, electrifying sound, and quirky takes on being a Pentecostal church kid. They have shared stages with artists like Big Freedia, Durand Bernarr, Cakes da Killa, and Jill Scott. With Daryl Coley and Ricky Dillard as their big inspirations sonically and in expression Danni transports their audiences right in the center of a high Sunday Service. The theme for the evening is love, sex, and relations! This will be an evening to remember and yap about with everyone who missed it! Doors open at 7:30 PM. The show starts at 8:00 PM! Doors will close and lock at 8:00 to protect the integrity of the space. Live on stage. Nothing is off-limits!
