Eclectrik! Afrobeat heat, bluesy vocals and soulful house with Olubundi (live)

For our 7th anniversary we're recreating our first gig by inviting back Afrobeat maestro Olubundi and turning Hackney Central into The Shrine for one night only. Local boy, Paleblu will be supporting, with his odes to the sounds of UK dance music. Our opening band, Between Rivers teams avant-garde jazz with bewitching vocals and we're entranced. If that wasn't enough, we've only gone and booked underground legend Grace Sands for the club section. It's a vinyl set so don't even bother Shazaming. Eclectrik is a bi-monthly immersive music event. It showcases live performances from both emerging and established artists then segues into DJ sets enthralled to the 4/4 beat of House music but will always stray to its disco roots taking in jazz, Afrobeat, Latin rhythms and funk along the way.
