HIPJOINT Jazz: Sula

It’s the season finale of HIPJOINT Jazz! and to bring our residency at The Greyhound to a close, we’re bringing you a trio that’s on everybody’s lips, Sula! I first caught Sula at last year’s We Out Here festival. Unaware of the blistering sunburn I was developing, I sipped an ice cold whiskey and ginger beer as I became enamoured by the trio’s skill, charm and style. Safe to say I’ve been trying to lock them down for HIPJOINT ever since! Widely known in the scene, they’ve been shooting through the London jazz sphere fast, with their Ronnie Scotts debut early next month.
