Cake Architecture's takeover of Domus showroom over Clerkenwell design week, will temporarily transform the space into an experimental testing ground, exploring space, sound and surface through the typologies of a Gallery (Day 1), Listening Room (Day 2) and Club (Day 3). Creating a temporary platform for cultural production. Each Day the space will adapt and a new collective will curate the music line up, complimented by exhibitions, talks and workshops throughout the day. Installation: Cake Sound System: Big Ears Lighting: Jarrod O'Connell Visuals: Wasted Space Day 2 Listening Room: Big Ears shapes day two’s Listening Room program, pushing the bounds of their brand new hand built ‘Hive’ system. As a team spanning makers, designers, sound engineers & curators, different ideas always emerge. Expect deep, intentional listening of electroacoustic sounds where synthesis and live instrumentation meet.
