Tribe of Kings is a reggae sound system established in San Diego in 1997. Nearly three decades of continuous operation. DJ Unite, Jester, and Peril represent the crew in Las Vegas for one night of roots, culture, reggae, and dancehall on an open-air patio. DJ Unite is the touring DJ for Slightly Stoopid, having played multiple U.S. tours alongside Sly & Robbie, Snoop Dogg, Stephen Marley, Cypress Hill, Collie Buddz, and Rebelution. Stages include Red Rocks, Roseland Ballroom, and Petco Park. He has been a Tribe of Kings selector since the sound system was founded in 1997. Tribe of Kings has shared stages with Gregory Isaacs, Chronixx, Protoje, The Original Wailers, Collie Buddz, Sister Nancy, Don Carlos, Barrington Levy, Beres Hammond, and Eek-a-Mouse. Their flagship event, Uptown Top Ranking, has run every Sunday night in San Diego since 1997 and is one of the longest-running weekly reggae parties on the West Coast. Free entry. 21+.
