Tokyo-based percussive club music collective brings hard-drum producer Ovid to Osaka for a night of drum-forward dynamism and abstract bass pressure. Akito, NTS radio mainstay and boss of the Sans Absence label, whose stripped-down, spartan grooves are simultaneously severe and sensuous, makes a rare appearance alongside Ovid, having reworked a track for him on a previous EP. He is joined by DubGuy, recently returned to his Kansai hometown after a stint in Tokyo, whose Trekkie Trax releases have received support from the likes of Ben UFO, local heavyweights and bass wizards, Sintaro Fujita and Mitsuhiro, and ritualistic shaman _goodbyeforever_, whose hypnotic stylings cut across techno, ambient, and deconstructed club.
