Known for a sound that swings between the heavy, dark weight of dubstep and the atmospheric drift of ambient—along with a handful of alter egos like EARTAKER and BERSERKER—his music feels like a journey through the city’s neon-lit streets and its quieter, more introspective corners. At the heart of things is his label and party, **BACK TO CHILL**, which he founded in 2006. It’s a home for heavyweight bass and immersive sound, bridging the gap between the club’s floor and the headphones at 3 AM. In 2021, he dropped the album **SURVIVAL RESEARCH**, a record that continues his exploration of that dual world—part distorted, sub-heavy dread, part calm headspace.
