Modalities of Me

DANCÆ presents Modalities of Me, a new ballet in collaboration with Swiss-based installation artists Encor Studio, staged within Monopol’s historic former distillery. Set to techno music mixed by ogtrues and VINVAR, the performance explores how modern love is shaped and often distorted by the spaces we inhabit: digital realms, club culture, curated identities, and hyper-capitalist systems. The work interrogates shifting desires under social pressures, examining how intimacy is performed, commodified, consumed, and sometimes destroyed. Audiences are invited to reflect on the volatile and fragile nature of connection in contemporary life.
