Join us on June 6 at the old Tegel Airport (@frachtkante) for our first political event, accompanied by DJ sets on two floors. With our impact on local club culture, we feel responsible to use our platform not just for parties but larger purposes. Implementing political standpoints within the clubbing context can be challenging. Often the political contributions come short because they are being squeezed in between DJ sets and thus feel subordinate to the usual program. Also the payment difference between political actors and DJs usually is extremely off and irrational. That’s why we’ve made the following two changes with this upcoming event: The „Political Hub“ as a designated space at the venue for the various political contributors. Allowing for program throughout the entire day. Across all political actors, organizations and DJs that we booked, the fee is equal. To emphasize the importance of the political work, a part of the ticket profits will be shared between those actors and organizations additionally to their fee.
