The first 2026 edition of Dwam explores fresh collaborations meeting at the experimental corners of modern bass music. Family affair energy and deep, dubby enchantments on a custom-built mono stack soundsystem. Limited capacity so get down early. __amaia + t l k (hybrid) The vocalist-DJ pair join Dwam from Bristol. amaia’s deft vinyl mixing and t l k’s distinct vocal-electronic palette meet at a shared affinity for leftfield, textural dubstep and crumbly dub techno. An homage to the downtempo legacy of Bristol and beyond, the duo bring a hybrid approach to their debut for Dwam at 90mil, seeking to bridge and transverse the roles of DJ and vocalist, and connect early experimental dubstep with a contemporary Bristol sound. __gega.fisk (live) Off the back of their debut EP, local collaborators gega and fisk perform live at Dwam. gega.fisk means wrong in Eritrean and fish in Swedish. Its meaning encapsulates the feeling of being an outsider, malplaced in your own environment. The artists share their personal experiences translated through music and socio-critical poetry. Their project delivers an illicit message of trauma, rage and healing and a comment on the daily struggles they face. Relinquishing the freedom of shredding sonic arbitrary, their bass-driven sounds encapsulate emotional journeys through odd soundscapes and irregular beats. __Jack Miguel The dub selector opens for Dwam with deep, reverberating tracks. __Miri Malek Dwam founder closes with a wonky, swampy set exploring the leftfield side of their sound alongside contemporary grime and experimental bass.
