Punkfilmfest, Crunch Tapes & Positive Transmitter present: Skinner (IE / dance punk, no wave) + Ara Lil Yoon (post-punk, avant rock) Skinner is the Dublin-based project of Aaron Corcoran, blending the raw spirit of no wave and post-punk — drawing from The B-52s, James Chance & the Contortions and ESG — with the angular energy of alt-rock touchstones like Pixies and Morphine. Sharp, self-produced and driven by restless rhythms, Skinner’s music thrives on tension, groove and controlled chaos. His debut album New Wave Vaudeville (Faction Records, 2025) takes inspiration from the free-form, anti-commercial New York art underground of the late ’70s, delivering a bold and unruly sound built for the stage. Skinner and his band have toured and shared stages with Dope Lemon, Algiers and The Wedding Present, earning a reputation for explosive, unpredictable and unmissable live performances. Support: Ara Lil Yoon are a Maltese–British post-punk band based in Berlin. Blending fuzzy guitar lines with urban wordsmithery, their debut album Triboulet plunges into aggressive Mediterranean waters — a place where high-energy rhythms and English poetry meet in symphonic chaos. Expect sweat, movement, and plenty of noise. Doors: 19:00 Show: 20:00
