Snow pool is an event series, an open space focusing on contemporary music, genre-agnostic storytelling and tender moods. This fourth edition, highlights the live performance of music composer, Pablo Altar. Working at the intersection of film scores and the ambient and alternative music scenes. His practice consists of blending different keyboard elements such as synths, piano and organ, and includes numerous formats : soundtracks for cinema, sound design, collaborations with artists in performance art and video art. He releases albums on various independent labels: Tristate (Land Arts, 2020), Music for a While (High Heal, 2022), and Far Out (Mfaw, 2024). He is also part of the duo called Secret Guests with harpist Ange Halliwell. Edoardo Micheli is a composer, producer and educator. After an academic study in composition he is now more engaged in questioning, deconstructing and remixing the legacy of the dominant culture and collaborating with other artists. In parallel, he is pursuing a PHD on ecoacoustics, listening communities and nonhuman music. Gossip is a Berlin based duo. Once a word for spiritual kin and communion, Gossip carried a sense of closeness and shared presence. This thread lingers in the duo’s practice, drifting voices, atmospheres that shift between clarity and shadow. Their music engages in layered gestures, resisting fixed sonic narratives.
