We're hosting another intimate community gathering at Bar Neun, raising funds for affected artists in immediate need on the ground in Lebanon, with special guests Abigail Toll and Rabih Beaini, plus Assyouti opening the night. In collaboration with Radio Alhara, the sets will be recorded and broadcast as part of a special transmission. ::: Abigail Toll (live) ::: Abigail Toll is a sound artist and composer producing minimalist and drone-based electroacoustic and chamber music. Her practice spans solo, ensemble and collaborative performances as well as sculptural, multichannel installations and artistic research. These formats bring psychoacoustics, tuning and tonal deviations into focus as prismatic deep-listening environments. She is currently researching quantum poetics and how sound persists through the resonant frequencies of architectural sites and landscapes. These frequencies in turn form the basis of her tuning systems. For the circle ::: she will perform her second studio album ‘Idol’ (rel. Superpang, 2025) which re-contextualizes the trance-like sensations found in Malta’s ancient burial site, the Hypogeum. ::: Rabih Beaini ::: Rabih Beaini’s genuine musical ability, shaped by influences ranging from krautrock to new wave, flows seamlessly through his inventive and emotionally charged productions as well as his immersive DJ sets. Alongside his own output, Beaini has served as a producer for releases by pioneering American composer Pauline Oliveros, French mechanical-orchestra creator Pierre Bastien, and the explosive Indonesian duo Senyawa. This same spirit carries into Morphine Records, his label which serves as a vital platform for unrestricted creative expressions. For the circle ::: Rabih will finish off the night with a DJ set bridging raw, elemental electronica with the expressive depth of jazz. 16.04.26 | 20:00-02:00 RSVP on RA | Minimum donation 10€ at the door All proceeds donated to @havenforartists
