This Sunday, Ambient Bar BKK presents "Wax & Wires: Techno Session" — a dedicated showcase exploring the raw boundaries of electronic music. We are opening our doors early at 15:00, transforming our intimate, red-hued listening space into a deep sonic journey that bridges the warmth of strictly vinyl techno with the unpredictable current of live modular synthesis. The Lineup: NOEARS (20:00 - 23:00) As the frontman and mastermind of Thailand's premier alternative/shoegaze band Hariguem Zaboy, NOEARS presents his raw electronic alter-ego. Stripping away the guitars, he takes over the decks for a strictly vinyl-only set focusing on deep, hypnotic Techno and Minimal. With his release on the Bangkok electronic imprint Pissawong Records, NOEARS is highly respected for his uncompromising and gritty approach to the dancefloor. Sahalux (19:00 - 19:45) For this special evening, Sahalux will represent the "Wires" of the night with a hardware-only Modular Live Set. Creating rhythms, baseline signals, and atmospheric textures completely in the moment through patch cables and hardware, this live performance promises to push our analog sound system to its limits. Funkpheno (17:00 - 19:00) A dedicated force in the Bangkok electronic music scene since 2009. Funkpheno is celebrated for his modern, fresh approach to progressive techno. Expect a dynamic analog journey characterized by crispy clear basslines, driving electro beats, and deep, hypnotic grooves. VIM (15:00 - 17:00) Our resident VIM opens the afternoon session with an extended vinyl warm-up. He will set the emotional foundation, guiding the room from chilled daytime selections into the deeper, hypnotic techno frequencies. The Vibe & House Rules: Ambient Bar BKK is a dedicated listening and dance space built on the culture of respect. Strictly Vinyl & Live Analog Gear only (Allen & Heath Xone:92 + Technics turntables).
