Maitri Chit Project presents: Daniel Bell

Sarayu's Maitri Chit Project returns with Detroit-born, Berlin-based DJ and producer Daniel Bell. A key figure in early Detroit minimalism, Bell came up through the Plus 8 circle, collaborating with Richie Hawtin and John Aquaviva as Cybersonik before founding his own Accelerate label in 1991. Under the DBX alias, his 1994 track "Losing Control" became one of the decade's most influential underground records; he later founded 7th City and Harmonie Park, and co-founded Elevate with a then-unknown Theo Parrish. Long-term resident at Robert Johnson in Frankfurt, Bell has been a constant presence in Europe's underground rooms for three decades, including part of Tresor's 35th anniversary marathon in Berlin. In 2026 he launched Beyond, a series of open-to-close sets at select clubs around the world. With support from Sarayu & Elaheh.
