Club Kowloon proudly presents Posner, producer, booker and DJ, all the way from Bergen, Norway, together with writer and DJ NordOst, Beerlab Tokyo curator and resident DJ Merco Ben and CK founder Espen Cook. This is our last party in Tokyo before returning to Oslo. Particularly excited about this lineup as it ranges from techno to jungle and footwork and other left field bass music experiments, expect the unexpected (?). Suns is an intimate DJ bar in Shimokitazawa with fantastic sound and curated atmosphere, good drinks and smokey vibes in the basement of a Posner is a Norwegian producer and DJ, who is known for his take on genres like footwork and breakbeat, with an atmospheric and ambient feel. His debut album “thought this might be a good time” was released in January 2025, and has been played by DJs across the world and on radios like NTS, Kindred and Rinse. The album was listed as the #1 breakbeat and footwork record on Nina Protocol. March 13th he released his EP ‘Scenery’, a further exploration of the sonic landscape found on “thought this might be a good time,” with a focus on ambient textures and fast rhythms. Here, a refined expression of Posner’s unique footwork and breakbeat sound emerges. NordOst DJ and writer. He contributes primarily to outlets such as AVYSS and ele-king. During the pandemic, NordOst became increasingly drawn to Japan’s independent club, rave, and electronic music scenes, and made his DJ debut in 2021 under the name NordOst. He is currently active mainly in the Tokyo metropolitan area, playing around 100 genre-crossing gigs a year at a wide range of events in Japan and abroad. As of 2026, his selections are centered on leftfield bass music from across eras and regions, as well as microhouse, minimal techno, and IDM. He has previously supported Japan shows by artists including Petal Supply, umru, 2hollis, and Ninajirachi. He also organizes the irregular party series The Fourth Way, which reflects his omnivorous musical sensibility. Merco Ben Evolved around the electronic underground scene of Paris. Now based in Japan, he takes care of Tokyo Beer Lab to create a unit community behind underground local music scene. Drummer and mathematics enthusiast, he likes to build sequenced, energetic and intertwined sounds. Hip hop-inspired DJ initially, he still loves to trigger listeners with some unexpected blends. While he manages and takes care about the @tokyobeerlab curation, his taste for music are really wide evolving between 100 to 180 bpm. He plays definitely what he loves and what he feels can fits the place. It goes through :Bass, techno, breaked stuff, deconstructed club music, basement club music. Espen Cook Club Kowloon co-founder together with Jørgen Sevild. Cook is an artist, DJ and designer from Bergen, Norway. His sets blend trippy, groovy rhythms with warm, ambient, and experimental soundscapes (hypnotic yet precise). Active since 2013, Cook has brought his sound to clubs and festivals such as Sónar (HK), Shi Fu Miz (HK), Vill Vill Vest (NO), Clockenflap (HK), Bonobo (JP), OIL Club (SZ), Social Room (HK), Cassio (HK), XXX (HK), Salon 10 (HK), Oma (HK), Gazette Club (RO), Landmark Bergen (NO), Østre (NO), and BLÅ (OSL).
