Las Vegas Nightlife
The world's nightlife capital. Megaclubs, celebrity DJs, pool parties, and a city that is entirely built around going out.
Las Vegas nightlife is unlike anywhere else on earth. The city has no closing time, no neighborhood to "find" — it's all built into casino-hotels that run around the clock. The Strip is home to the world's largest nightclubs, pool parties, and residency shows from the biggest DJs on the planet. Downtown Fremont Street offers a rawer, more eclectic alternative — local bars, neon signs, and a crowd that comes for the experience rather than the spectacle. Whether you're here for a bachelorette weekend, a club pilgrimage, or just curious what maximum- scale nightlife looks like, Las Vegas delivers.

Vegas nightlife is concentrated in two areas. They have completely different personalities — choose based on what kind of experience you're after.
The Las Vegas Strip
The Strip is nightlife at maximum scale. Casino-hotel clubs here hold thousands of people, host weekly DJ residencies with globally recognized artists, and spend more on production than most cities' entire nightlife scenes. Pool parties in summer are a daytime extension of the same energy. This is Vegas as the world imagines it.
Downtown Fremont Street
Fremont Street is old Vegas — neon signs, lower prices, and a crowd that mixes locals, budget travelers, and people who specifically chose to avoid the Strip. The famous Fremont Street Experience LED canopy runs overhead; the bars underneath and on the side streets are a genuinely different experience from the casino megaclubs a few miles south.
Las Vegas Nightlife Essentials
- •No closing time. Nevada has no legal last call. Casinos and many clubs run 24 hours. The night in Vegas genuinely never has to end.
- •Guest lists are essential on the Strip. Walk-up entry to major clubs means long waits and higher covers. Get on the guest list through the club's website or a promoter — often free for women before midnight, and significantly cheaper for men.
- •Budget $100–$200+ per person on the Strip. Drinks are $15–$25+. Club covers run $30–$60 for men. Bottle service starts at $500–$1,000 minimums. Fremont Street is significantly cheaper.
- •Pool parties in summer are a daytime event. Major pools open around noon and run until late afternoon. They're often more accessible than the clubs — and for some DJ residencies, the pool show is better than the nightclub version.
- •Drinking age is 21. Strictly enforced — bring valid ID. Nevada law also prohibits open containers outside certain designated areas, despite the "open container" reputation.
