MAVE feat. Ago

MAVE returns to West Harlem this spring with Ago, a member of the Florence-based collective Numa Crew, for a night moving fluidly from dub to techno. The lineup includes Osaka-based DJ and producer D.J.Fulltono, known for his role in developing Japan’s juke and footwork scene, Tokyo-based K8 bridging Afro-influenced sounds and UK bass, Kyoto-based Vís drawing from UK sound system culture with a driving and introspective approach, and whatman — also active as the frontman of the Kyoto band odd eyes — presenting an experimental club-oriented set. Artwork by visual artist mad O. about MAVE Founded in 2020 at West Harlem in Kyoto by ntank, MAVE is a genre-crossing party focused on physical groove within an alternative club context. Past guests include Cassius Select, Commodo, DJ Marfox, DJ Nigga Fox, Livity Sound, TSVI and Pelada.
