manju

“Manju” is a monthly vinyl-only DJ night held every third Saturday at Good Morning Record Bar in Kyoto’s Shijo-Kiyamachi district. Selectors gather with crates of records, letting jazz, soul, Japanese grooves, house, and other deep cuts move the room. A small space, good records, and an easy atmosphere — slowly steamed to perfection, like manju.
