A group of techno DJs and producers based in Kyoto, each expanding the scene through their own distinct perspective, with tui at the core. Drawing inspiration from classical music, tui crafts hypnotic grooves that unfold like chemical reactions. He has performed across underground scenes worldwide, including Brussels, Milan, Saarbrücken, and Shanghai. Through his self-organized party “DEN-EN,” he has shared lineups with key figures in the techno scene such as ¥ØU$UK€ ¥UK1MAT$U, DJ SHUFFLEMASTER, DJ TOOL, and DJ Maria., continuously exploring the possibilities of techno in Japan. sak operates primarily out of West Harlem Kyoto, where he has invited artists such as cola ren and yellowuhuru. Moving fluidly between techno and bass music, he introduces fresh contexts into the local scene. ru1 runs the techno party “phos” at Kyoto Metro, where he has hosted acts like Lostbaggage. As part of a new generation, he brings a forward-looking approach while steadily shaping the next phase of the scene.
